The PDO Threads procedure requires small insertions around the area to be treated. The threads are barbed and lift from the inside.
Bruising: Occasionally a small blood vessel may rupture due to the insertion of the threads and could also cause redness and swelling.
Discomfort: during and after, such as slight tightening sensation, soreness, tenderness as new collagen is produced in and around the threads.
Infection: since PDO threads involves insertion of needles/cannulas, although rare, there is a risk of you developing an infection at the insertion site.
To reduce discomfort, administration of topical anesthesia, local anesthesia or both may be used, if deemed necessary by the treating staff member.
You may begin to notice results within 3-4 days, with full results in 30 days. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your physician will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

Microneedling has very low downtime. Skin redness and inflammation are very common. They will disappear within 1-3 days. Your skin may become slightly pink for 2 to 4 days depending on the severity of the treatment. Your skin may peel in 4-7 days.
